Creating New Worlds and Monsters: Wacom X Framestore

Wacom commissioned Strange Brew Productions to produce a short promo video showcasing the incredibly talented team at Framestore London and how their use of Wacom products is imperative to their everyday workflow.

The project was used for B2B and B2C. Our role was not only to produce the visual content and deliver a product, but we also scripted and asked the questions, ensuring the key creatives at Framestore could answer naturally.

We shot the film in 4k, delivering in the highest possible quality. We also delivered videos suitable for IGTV as well as shorter videos for Twitter and Facebook.

Challenges and how we handled them

One challenge we faced was ensuring a balance between promoting the Wacom products and exploring the creative team’s work at Framestore. We solved this by asking very precise questions that enabled us to merge together a full narrative.

Another challenge was the shooting location, we only had one day to film all 3 interviews as well as all the b-roll, this meant adapting to the space, setting up the appropriate lighting and ensuring audio was of the best quality without wasting any time.
